Welcome to the SECURE | CYBER CONNECT Podcast with Jay Adamson and Warren Atkinson, where we’re joined by information and Cyber Security, Technology, and Talent Acquisition professionals who share their journeys, unique perspectives, and offer valuable advice and guidance.
In this special DTX EDITION, we have the pleasure of being joined by Sean Gilroy- Senior User Experience Principal at the BBC and a leader in workplace accessibility and inclusive design. After a career in finance, culminating as Finance Director for BBC North, Sean now leads the Workforce Accessibility & Inclusive Design Team, driving the development of accessible digital experiences across the BBC’s global public service operation.
Sean is also the co-creator of BBC CAPE, the award-winning neurodiversity initiative that helped remove employment barriers for neurodivergent individuals. He currently serves as Chair of NiON (Neuro-Inclusive Organisations Network), championing inclusion across Greater Manchester and beyond.
In this episode, we explore key questions, including: How can UX and product teams create truly inclusive digital experiences? What are the risks and opportunities of AI in workplace accessibility? How can businesses move beyond compliance to see inclusion as a competitive advantage? Plus, we discuss the role of tech, cyber security, and leadership in building a more accessible and neuro-inclusive future.
